Compliance with Slovenian Law
MaxAirsoft operates under the laws of the Republic of Slovenia, ensuring a safe and legal purchase for all items in our catalog.

  • Unrestricted Items: The majority of our range, including tactical gear and airsoft guns, is freely accessible without legal restrictions. No special permits are required for their purchase.
  • Age-Restricted Items (18+): For items such as blank (signal) pistols and launchers (e.g., Byrna, T4E), which are not classified as weapons under Slovenian law, our company requires proof of adulthood (18+) to ensure safety and responsible use.
  • Unrestricted Weapons (ID required): Certain items classified as weapons under the Slovenian Weapons Act (ZOro-1) but available for free sale (e.g., lower-powered airguns and self-defense items like pepper sprays and electric shock devices/paralyzers) require the buyer to be at least 18 years old and provide a valid ID. No special administrative permits are needed.
  • Regulated Weapons: For products classified as higher-powered airguns or firearms and their essential parts, MaxAirsoft ensures full compliance with the strict procedures of the Slovenian Weapons Act (ZOro-1), including the verification of necessary permits.

 

Important Notice for EU Buyers
While these items are in free sale or legally regulated in Slovenia, regulations vary significantly across the European Union. An item classified as a "non-weapon" or "self-defense tool" in Slovenia may be classified as a "restricted weapon" or "prohibited item" in your country.


1. Product Categories & Local Restrictions
Before completing your purchase, please verify the legality of the following items in your country of residence:

  • Airsoft & Airguns: Regulations on muzzle energy (Joules/FPS), firing modes (semi/full-auto), and specific markings (e.g., the "F-in-pentagon" for Germany).
  • Self-Defense & Signal Weapons: Rules regarding pepper sprays (OC sprays), signal/blank pistols, and launchers (e.g., Byrna).
  • Archery & String Weapons: Regulations on crossbows and high-power bows.
  • Tactical Accessories: Restrictions on laser sights, tactical lights, or high-capacity magazines.

 

2. Firearms & Regulated Parts
Real firearms and their essential parts (barrels, slides, frames) cannot be shipped via courier service. These items are available for personal pickup only at our store in Celje, Slovenia, upon presentation of a valid identity document and the required purchase permit issued by the competent authority.


3. Buyer’s Responsibility & Liability
By placing an order, the Buyer explicitly confirms that they have verified the legal status of the products in their destination country.

  • Seizures & Local Authorities: MaxAirsoft is not liable for items seized, confiscated, or destroyed by police, customs, or other law enforcement authorities within the EU due to non-compliance with local laws.
  • No Refunds: No refunds or compensation will be issued for items lost or destroyed due to local import restrictions or lack of required permits in your country.
  • Taxes: VAT is already included in the price at the time of purchase (based on the VAT rate of your country via the OSS system); therefore, there are no additional customs duties or import taxes upon delivery within the EU.
